When we had our first kid we had planned on using the top of a dresser as a place to change her diapers. Little did we know, my parents had decided to surprise us with a real changing table. They sent us this one from Delta Children, and at first we didn’t see the point. After our daughter’s arrival, we soon realized how convenient it was to have a place dedicated for all our diapers, creams, wipes and other poop related necessities.
After a few months, we also realized that children are wiggly and have a habit of making messes and rolling around in open poopy diapers as soon as you look away. At first, we kept her wipes and things in the changing area so we could easily reach them while keeping a hand on her. Soon she started to grow and liked to kick her feet, knocking over any wipes or creams we had near her.
It was time to do something about it so we could keep using the changing table my parents had sent all the way until she outgrew the table. Now, after years of testing and 3 redesigns, I’m ready to share this changing table organizer/shelf with you!
Now, all of the essentials are in reach, all corners have been rounded off, and the middle is supported with pins designed to keep it strong and level.
Each one takes about a day to produce and I will be adding this to my Etsy shop if you would like one for yourself and your family! We will be producing them in several colors.
